KYM SKWC Yoga Teacher Training Certification
Senior faculty, teachers, and trainers from KYM Chennai will serve as instructors for the course, which spans 15 months and is divided into three semesters. Throughout this period, KYM teachers will maintain ongoing communication and provide continuous mentoring to students. Personal mentoring is a crucial component of the program, ensuring that aspiring yoga teachers are thoroughly guided to become proficient in teaching yoga appropriately while preserving its tradition and understanding its scientific principles.
Additionally, there will be a three-day internship and observation course at the 48-year-old KYM institution in Chennai. During this internship, students will have the opportunity to practice and learn directly from the senior teachers at KYM Chennai.

Sri TKV Desikachar founded Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in Chennai in 1976 as Guru – Dakshina to his father Sri T Krishnamacharya.
He is known for his inimitable ability of demystifying yoga philosophy and for his pioneering work in the area of wellness and yoga therapy.
A brilliant diagnostician and yoga therapist, Sri TKV Desikachar’s skills for prognosis and diagnosis were legendary.
Full credit goes to him for creating the representational stick figures that are so widely used by students and teachers of yoga the world over.
His no-nonsense teaching style continues to resonate in the minds of his students.
