How did you get to know about the KYM KWC TTC?

I heard from Sri Krishna Wellness Yoga Centre about KYM, then I started to research about the credibility of KYM before I could join the course. I was amazed about the culture of KYM and I decided to take up the course. This is the first time KYM has come out of Chennai to Bangalore. I am thankful to Mimi Parthasarathy for getting KYM to Bangalore.

What accordingly to you are the 3 main learnings you have got from this KYM TTC?

True meaning of YOGA through the study of Yoga sutras. Yoga is not only about Asanas, it is more than than that. The way the KYM senior faculties explain the sutras in details is wonderful.

Course planning – Now I am able to sequence an asana by preventing injuries to my students and me.

Pranayama and meditation – I always believed only in practice of asana, but after the classes that I attended of Mr.Sridharan Sir (senior faculty and trustee of KYM) I am addicted with pranayama and meditation. The benefits are amazing.

What according to you makes the KYM TTC one of the best TTC programs in India and in the world?

– Individualistic approach to each student to understand his or her specific needs wants and needs and requirements
– Mentor sessions to help individuals to overcome their own physical and emotional struggle
– True guru shishya parampara style of teaching

What accordingly you are the 3 main points of the KYM TTC which will help your career grow?

– Being empathetic to students and following Ahimsa in teaching
– the importance of Course planning to fit teaching group classesas per their needs

Having learnt the KYM TTC at Krishna Wellnes Centre which has a very serene environment surrounded by trees with a very traditional yoga hall, what was the overall experience for you?

It’s an amazing experience, in Bangalore having a place like Sri Krishna Wellness Yoga Centre to learn and practice Yoga. This great experience just adds to the learning. Attending these classes have become part of our daily living we infact look forward to our next session…

The KYM Yoga TTC – Batch 18 – 19 begins on June 23rd this year? Would you recommend the KYM TTC to your friends and other yoga teachers and enthusiasts? And why?

Of course, this is one of the best TTC not just to learn yoga, but truly to understand what Yoga is about. If I look back, my entire outlook about Yoga, and my own life journey has changed for good. This is what this course has done to me personally
